The Cooking School's Great Yorkshire Pudding Challenge!
Who makes the Best Yorkshire Puddings? Is it you, your Gran, your Dad or your local pub?
The Cooking School at Dean Clough wants to find out! We have chosen Yorkshire Day to throw down the gauntlet to find the Yorkshire Pudding Champion of the 4 Counties.
In our quest for the Best we are presenting the second annual Pro Am Yorkshire Pudding Contest on Saturday 8 September 2012. Yorkshire's top pro chefs will cook off against each other.
Last Year's Winners:
- Pro - Ben Cox of The Star @ Sancton taking the tropy for East Yorkshire
- Am - Chris Blackburn of Copley, Halifax taking the trophy for West Yorkshire
But can YOU beat last years' winner as the Greatest Yorkshire Pudding maker? 20 lucky Yorkshire "amateur" contestants will be picked to enter our Great Yorkshire Pudding Challenge completely free of charge.

Deadline for entries: Monday 5 September 2011
To register please complete an online booking form. Add the challenge to your basket (below) as if you were booking on one of our cooking courses. You then need to go to the checkout and fill in all your details and you will be entered in to our draw. It is the same process as booking on a normal course the only difference being that the competition is free of charge.
All entries are completely free of charge. The closing date for entries is Monday 5 September 2011 when 20 contestants will be selected at random to compete on the day.
